David Woodgate is a qualified Sports Therapist, Exercise Instructor & Personal Trainer. He is registered with the Society of Sports Therapists and is at Level 4 on CIMSPA (formerly the Register of Exercise Professionals.)
In 2006 David completed a degree in Sports Therapy, Health & Fitness at the University of Kent and went on to become one of the first people in the country to complete a Masters degree in Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation. He has since been practicing Sports Therapy for over 15 years, previously spending 13 years working in the NHS.
David has worked with amateur and elite athletes. He has experience in both able-bodied and parasport. He has provided Sports Massage and injury support for members of the Great Britain Weightlifting team and Badminton England as well as International Handcyclists.
He has a special interest in special population groups and has worked with people with a vast array of medical conditions including cardiac, stroke survivors and mental illness, helping them to reach their functional, exercise and sporting goals.
